We Completed EWA 2025 with the Second Place Award

Our journey in the EIT Food Empowering Women in Agrifood (EWA) 2025 Program, which began nearly six months ago with great excitement, concluded with an important achievement. At the program final, our biopolymer-based smart packaging technology, designed to reduce food waste and safety risks across the food supply chain, was awarded second place, together with a €5,000 prize.

Led by EIT Food, implemented by Impact Hub Istanbul, supported by the guidance of the Foodback team, and backed by Anadolu Efes, the program became much more than an entrepreneurship journey for us. It provided a valuable environment to reassess our business model, strengthen our decision-making processes, and further develop our solution through new perspectives.

Throughout the mentorship, training, and business development process, the insights and feedback we received helped us build a stronger foundation for both our technology and our future vision. Completing EWA 2025 with the Second Place Award marks an important milestone in our work on sustainable food technologies and smart packaging, while further strengthening our motivation for the journey ahead.
